Mirror surface protection tapes
These tapes are designed to protect mirror back surface.
Venture Tape 960 (Mirrabak) is an unique composite material made of crosslinked multilayer copolymer film with superior impact strength. Venture Tape 960 meets requirements for the 2nd grade shock-resistant mirrors on face surface and back surface. Strong composite film coated with high quality adhesive ensures safe adhesion to paint applied on mirror back surface. This helps to achieve optimal parameters, bond permanency and safety.
Properties and advantages
- Acrylic adhesive features very good adhesion to paint applied on mirror back surface
- Multilayer copolymer ensures excellent protection of mirrors and maintains permanency of geometrical dimensions
- An ideal solution for protection of back surfaces of silver-plated float-glass and mirrors made of fully hardened glass
- Excellent resistance to heat and humidity
- Corresponds to quality standards ANSI Z97.1-1984, HUD, CPSC, CAN 2-12.1, 16FR1201 of the 2nd category and British standards BS-6206 class A.
